Catalog description

In this course, the student will develop an understanding and need for discrete event simulation in practice. The course will focus on basic and advanced concepts in simulation modeling including analyzing simulation results, and successfully developing simulation models useful in production/manufacturing, supply chains, transportation, and other areas related to industrial and Manufacturing Engineering. Simulation package such as ARENA will be integrated and used throughout. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
