To investigate, discuss and debate the historical experience of African Americans from their origins in West Africa, through the Middle Passage and the Plantation, to the 15th Amendment and the Sell-Out of 1876. Thematic Thread(s): Citizenship & Social Problems, Human Diversity & Well-Being, Transfer Thread Completion Course Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
