Financial Fundamentals for Hospitality and Tourism

Catalog description

Students compete in realistic simulated hotel business model by making decisions, analyzing the results, and making adjustments based on critical analysis of those results in comparison with market competitors. Course provides an integrated understanding of pricing and inventory controls, distribution and channel optimization, and total revenue optimization as they impact HT financial statements, ratios, and metrics that measure business results. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students. Enrollment limited to students in a Master of Science degree.
