Catalog description

This course is designed to develop an understanding of how sustainable planning can reduce the negative impacts and maximize the benefits of the tourism industry. Students will research and evaluate the social, environmental and economic impacts of a variety of tourist destinations. Anaylses of the sites will be followed by formulating proposals to address key issues. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
