Catalog description

This course will examine leadership principles necessary to be effective in a continuously changing healthcare industry. Concepts covered include cultural competency, patient and family centered care, community outreach, coalition building, teamwork effectiveness, and leading within an environment of change in the US healthcare system. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2, Sophomore 1 or Sophomore 2 may not enroll.
