Catalog description
This course investigates and applies advanced Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques. Students will learn current techniques for the collection, evaluation, input, analysis, and output of spatial data with various GIS tools. Students will apply these techniques to real world problems in areas such as environmental monitoring, environ-mental modeling, urban planning, and economic location. Includes a lab. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
