Catalog description

This course introduces students to Unmanned Aerial Systems and their use in acquisition of remotely sensed data. Course content will cover topics necessary for students to sit for the FAA Part 107 Commercial Remote Pilot Certification examination. Students will also be introduced to basic concepts of remote sensing and aerial imaging, UAS mission planning and spatial data processing. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1 or Freshman 2 may not enroll.
