Catalog description

This course examines the effects of women growing older in a changing society. Social, psychological, economic, cultural and political implications will be discussed, including health concerns, changing roles and discrimination. Factors identified will be explored and connected to the role of the gerontological counselor in addressing concerns of aging women. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students. Enrollment limited to students with the SPECIAL APPROVAL attribute.
