Catalog description

A scientific study of interactions of global systems in the geosphere and biosphere. Selected global problems, such as waste production and disposal, energy use, atmospheric warming, ozone depletion, and acid deposition are analyzed along with possible alternatives. Four courses completed in the natural sciences and mathematics area of the liberal studies program. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
