Catalog description

This course traces the development of the study of literate practices within professions and disciplines, identifying research methods, areas of inquiry and current gaps in knowledge. The various social, technological, teleological and rhetorical factors that influence the forms and practices of writing within human enterprises and activities are examined. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
