Catalog description

ENGL 409 instructs upper-level English majors in the goals, audiences, sources, and methods for professionalization. In this course, students reflect on and define their individual undergraduate experiences and create a personal narrative from their experiences. Students will then identify and define a career field. By the end of the course, students will develop strategies for connecting their individual narrative to their specific desires for possible career fields. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
