Practicum: Teaching Writing

Catalog description

Students will learn to develop, respond to, evaluate, and grade student writing and related tasks. They will also be introduced to concepts important in the tutoring of student writers, as well as introductory theory used in the teaching of writing. Required for certification to teach English in the secondary schools. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment limited to students in the BSED1224 program.
