Catalog description

This course is being developed as part of a new track in the existing M.Ed. Program. Currently, no graduate course dedicated to literacy instruction and assessment of early childhood students ages 6-9, is offered through the ELEC Department, college of Education or university. The content of this course includes the knowledge and sills required for initial certification as specified by PDE (Pennsylvania Department of Education). The course will meet the candidate requirements for science and technology pedagogy that is outlined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education for initial teacher certification PK-4. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
