Catalog description
This course examines literacy assessment practices to differentiate instruction and improve skills in phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and written expression. An emphasis is placed on administering assessments, analyzing assessment data, and using the data to develop differentiated plans based on research-based instructional practices. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment limited to students with the ACCEPTANCE - TEACHER CANDIDACY attribute.
