Catalog description

This course is an overview of the role of assessment at the preschool and primary grade levels as integral to curriculum and instructional decision-making. Content will focus on informal assessment measures recommended for early childhood classroom teachers. A field experience gives students the opportunity to apply a variety of assessment measures with young children. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
