Catalog description

Candidates will learn numerous strategies which engage students in the science inquiry process by connecting scientific understanding and contemporary teaching and assessment practices. Locating and adapting appropriate activity-based science lessons are important components of this course. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment limited to students with the ACCEPTANCE - TEACHER CANDIDACY attribute.
