Catalog description
The various processes and operations needed to effectively teach mathematics in the elementary school are carefully analyzed. Candidates recognize and can address the mathematical concepts and the potential misconceptions and misunderstandings of these concepts by school-aged children. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment limited to students with the ACCEPTANCE - TEACHER CANDIDACY attribute.
