Elementary Field Experience

Catalog description

Candidates enroll as part of the Professional Block in Elementary Education. This course involves an in-depth teaching experience in an elementary classroom in which opportunities are provided for the application of content knowledge, pedagogical skills, and the assessment of children's learning. Grading P/NC/Fail. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment limited to students with the ACCEPTANCE - TEACHER CANDIDACY attribute.
