Senior Capstone I: Dance Research

Catalog description

Advanced level research, writing, and discussions will lead to the development and presentation of the student's senior project. Readings and discussions on dance philosophy, aesthetics, leadership, and arts advocacy will be the basis of this course. Practical experiences in resume and grant writing, graduate school applications, interviews, and career planning will be covered. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2, Junior 1, Sophomore 1 or Sophomore 2 may not enroll. Enrollment limited to students in the BA 5153, BFA 5353, BFA 5354 or BFA 5355 programs.
