Dance in Contemporary Times

Catalog description

This course examines specific genres and historical developments in dance in the 20th and 21st centuries. The aesthetics and philosophies of leading dance artists will be explored. Students will be required to attend certain dance events for this course; some may require a fee. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll. Enrollment is limited to students with a program in Dance, Dance - Performance, Dance- Business Administration, Dance or Dance: Performance.
