Catalog description

The course supports the notion that practice of admissions is not a singular independent activity, but in fact, is an integral part and linked to what we know about the development, mission, and current student profile issues that influence institutional practice. This course introduces individuals to the research, theoretical, and practical issues surrounding access to college and equity in higher education institutions. It specifically addresses access and equity issues related to racial/ethnic minority groups and socioeconomic status. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
