School Counseling Practicum

Catalog description

Supervised individual and group counseling, and consultation with teachers, administrators, and parents. Students also learn to utilize both school and community referral sources. Students meet regularly for individual supervision with their on-site and university supervisor, and receive group supervision with their university supervisor. Refer to the individual program guides for prerequisites. Requirements include Act 34 and Act 151 clearances and proof of insurance. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students. Enrollment limited to students with the SPECIAL APPROVAL attribute.
