Advanced Adult Counseling

Catalog description

This course will cover a representative sampling of counseling models and techniques commonly used with adults. the theoretical, where appropriate evidence and scientific bases will be covered in conjunction with an approach that emphasizes the varied nature of the presenting problems that today's mental health client present. An emphasis is placed on preparing students to begin fieldwork through closely supervised practice. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students. Enrollment limited to students with the SPECIAL APPROVAL attribute.
