An examination of ethical and legal considerations relevant to student affairs professionals and college counselors working in a higher education context. the course focuses on understanding and applying ethical principles and professional standards, as well as the law and legal precedent to complex situations and decisions. The relationships and distinctions between professional ethics and legal requirements also explored. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.
