Catalog description

A study of trends in the world of work, including the relationship between career development and other important life roles and factors. Theories of career development and related counseling theories, sources and uses of career information, methods of career assessment and counseling and approaches to career education are covered. Emphasis is placed upon developing skills for assisting individuals and groups - elementary school through adulthood - in career development and planning. Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students. Enrollment limited to students with the SPECIAL APPROVAL attribute.
