Catalog description
This course will encourage students to explore a personal investigation of graphic design production, critique, history and aesthetics. Students will demonstrate self-directed behavior relevant to professionalism and artistry. coursework will require an understanding of self that extends to an integral commitment in the production of graphic design. The quality and caliber of graphic design work produced in this course will define the student as a graphic artist. Through creative studio practice, students should develop a high degree of self-awareness and intrinsic motivation. Repeatable: consult individual curriculum guide. Students with a semester level of Freshman 1, Freshman 2 or Sophomore 1 may not enroll.
