Catalog description

This course serves as an introduction to the science of psychology. Psychological theory, concepts, and research spanning the breadth of the discipline are explored. Content will provide an introduction to research methods and ethics and include selected topics from each of the five domains of psychological inquiry: Biological, Cognitive, Developmental, Social and Personality, and Mental and Physical Health. Students will explore questions involving four themes that arise across the domains: Cultural and Social Diversity, Ethics, Variations in Human Functioning, and Applications.
