Catalog description

This course introduces students to the principles of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design within digital media and strategic communication. Through hands-on projects, students will conduct user research, develop wireframes, and apply core UI elements such as color, typography, and layout. The course also explores digital imaging, interactive project development, information architecture, design problem analysis, and contemporary distribution models. Foundational theories of communication, learning, human-centered design, and project evaluation are integrated throughout to deepen students’ strategic and creative decision-making.
