Catalog description

This is the first of a two-course lecture and laboratory series on human anatomy and physiology for undergraduate students. A pragmatic, systems-based approach will be used to cover foundational concepts of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. Mechanisms of system regulation are also examined, placing emphasis on the maintenance of homeostasis and alterations in cellular function. Clinical examples will enhance the understanding of normal structure and function of human anatomy and physiology.
