Catalog description
An introduction to developing Excel-based models for analyzing and forecasting financial statements, valuing firms and projects, and assessing risk. Topics include financial statement forecasting; discounted cash flow valuation; financial planning and investment modeling; analysis of market history and return distributions; stock price stimulation; and fundamentals of options and option pricing. This course covers the following dimension for studying management and business in context: I. History, Philosophy, and Ethics of Management and Business; II. Media, Technology, and Innovation; and VI. Government and Politics. 3 credit hours.
