Catalog description

An exploration of the US education system through an economic lens. Students will apply economic theory and several techniques of statistical analysis to a wide range of policy-relevant education topics including the demand for and returns to schooling, the impact of school resources on student outcomes, student incentives, school choice and accountability, the equity and efficiency of school funding, and labor markets for teachers.
