Catalog description

This Bridge Experience examines Black Feminist Thought in the U.S. with a focus on power, justice, and identity. Students engage films, popular culture, literary texts, and theoretical essays to understand how Black women challenge institutions and articulate visions of liberation. The course also emphasizes practice by asking students to bring theory into action through planning and participating in two annual community events.
