INTRODUCTION TO THE WORLD OF SURGERY

Catalog description

This course prepares the student to acquire the basic theoretical knowledge of the operating room area. Emphasis is placed on the development of critical thinking knowledge, skills and abilities, through the use of lectures and group discussions, which allows the student to identify the members of the surgical team, the roles of each of them and the laws that regulate their functions. In addition, the course develops skills related to communication, ethics and diversity.
