Catalog description
The class consists of the study of the measurements of central tendency and dispersion, sampling methods, probability theory, binomial distribution, normal probability density function and linear regression. In this course, students will use the scientific method, the different tools provided by statistics and technology to perform critical analysis with qualitative and quantitative data and generate alternatives that lead to more effective decision making based on scientific evidence. In this way, the students will develop the competencies of scientific reasoning, critical and quantitative while they effectively manage to use technology. Requires laboratory.
