Catalog description

The course prepares the student to interpret and integrate medical terminology used in the field of medical diagnostic imaging. Likewise, it develops in the student the skills and techniques for a professional communication necessary in the different medical documents that are handled in the workplace. Topics discussed include: anatomy, physiology, and pathology of every human body system. Relevant laboratory tests, as well as signs and symptoms related to the disease processes of each organ.
