Catalog description
This course introduces candidates to the different protocols to be used in sonography exams. Emphasis is placed on tracking techniques, patient positioning, views to be performed, and criteria for describing sonographic images and other imaging modalities. Students are prepared for clinical practice and laboratories where they will actively participate with the sonographic equipment. This course meets 30 hours of theory for one semester.
