Catalog description

This course discusses and analyzes major principles, concepts, theories, and test/instrument construction and validation methods. It intends to expose the students to a better understanding method for determining validity and reliability and the general ps ychometric properties of tests and research instruments. Students will perform a class project and exercises to construct an instrument to understand and be able to apply it in their professional practice by adapting diverse instruments to populations diff erent from the one for which the test was constructed and standardized.
