Catalog description

This course is aimed at the study of the evolution of the computer and its uses in education. Students will demonstrate at a basic level their critical thinking competence by investigating the impact of computer use on society and education, developing a basic level of information skills competence. It includes a study of the theories that support the integration of technology into the educational field, consideri ng basic aspects of ethics and diversity The course will stimulate the development of the basic level of their technological competence by becoming familiar with computer programs from a practical perspective. In addition, they will demonstrate their innovation competency at a basic level by building institutional objectives and activities for educational experiences with the integration of Microsoft Office applications. Finally, students will be able to perform information search in reliable WEB sources demonstrating service-oriented skills.
