Catalog description

Study of the first aid safety measures necessary to address an emergency in the work area. The necessary materials in the first aid kit are discussed, as well as preventive care when offering assistance to canines and cats. In addition, techniques of resuscitation for pets are presented. Emphasis is placed on developing critical thinking skills, a bilities, and competencies that enable the student to identify and address a medical emergency while offering a service to a pet. These competences will be developed through conferences, demonstrations, workshops, and the search of information through technological means.
