Catalog description

This course will be analyzed the use of mixed, quantitative and qualitative methods to address complex research questions in nursing and medical care. The fusion of methods and strategies to address problems of vulnerable populations will be discussed as well as paradigmatic issues, will be discussed. The student will use previous products developed in quantitative and qualitative methods classes to design a mixed method mini-proposal that integrates mixed method readings with the student's research interests. It facilitates the development of competencies related to advanced knowledge for nursing science, research and evidenced -based practice, and information and healthcare technologies.
