Catalog description
In this practical course, the patient is evaluated, diagnosed and treated according to the principles and philosophy of naturopathic medicine under supervision. It will be focused on naturopathic manipulation skills and the use of therapeutic equipment such as TENS, diathermy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and laser. The student will also be able to offer treatments such as hydrotherapy, clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, among other modalities that apply to the therapeutic order in the patient. NMDP 909 CLINICAL ENTRY II 1 CREDIT In this course the student under direct supervision evaluates standardized patients in a clinical setting for the following conditions: respiratory, skin and nails, breast and axillae, pregnancy, pediatrics, geriatrics and psychiatry and manage different pathology under the principles and philosophy of naturopathic medicine and all of its modalities.
