Study of the main topics related to the design and development of language curriculum elements (Spanish and English): multilevel lesson plans integrating standards and cross discipline’s themes, multilevel teaching strategies, curriculum design according t o the Montessori methodology, design of curriculum materials for language and writing areas according to the level and planes of development. Emphasis on the development of knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities through the analysis of the Mont essori language curriculum, enabling students to create multilevel lesson plans, differentiation learning and curriculum materials according to the planes of development. Additionally, it facilitates the development of competencies related to information s kills, ethics and diversity, scientific reasoning, and innovation. MONC 630 DESIGN OF MONTESSORI CURRICULUM AND TEACHING STRATEGIES FOR MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE 3 CREDITS Study of the design and development of elements in the Montessori Science and Mathematics curriculum: integrating standards and academic expectations, multilevel lesson plans, differentiated learning, and curriculum materials. Emphasis is placed on the dev elopment of knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities through the analysis of the discipline’s curriculum, enabling students to create multilevel plans curriculum aligned, incorporating differentiated learning and innovative curriculum materials. Additionally, the development of competencies related to information skills, ethics and diversity, scientific reasoning, and innovation is facilitated.
