The course covers the following topics: systems of linear equations, matrices, determinants, vector spaces, inner product spaces, linear transformations, and eigenvalues and eigenvectors. In addition to this, the GNU Octave program is used to solve problem s of applications of matrix operations, determinant operations, Markov chains, among others. It emphasizes the development of knowledge, abilities, and skills of logical-mathematic reasoning to generate appropriate trials in diverse contexts or situations in their discipline.
