Catalog description
Study of techniques in applied mathematics such as integration, differential equations and Fourier sequences. These techniques will be discussed in various contexts such as physics and particularly engineering. The course is developed using a balanced approach of theory and practice, to develop mathematical competencies and skills through problem solving, critical thinking and quantitative reasoning. Students will learn and appreciate the importance and necessity of advanced mathematical methods applied to the fields of engineering science and programming for their future engineering-related careers.
