Catalog description
The expert systems course allows the student to interact and develop an information system that emulates the reasoning of an expert in any area of knowledge. Expert system development includes the inference engine and the knowledge base. The knowledge base is established with facts and rules. The inference engine applies rules to known facts to deduce new facts for decision making.
