SECURITY INCIDENT RESPONSE

Catalog description

The course provides technical knowledge and concepts on incidents, detection and response to security models endorsed by federal agencies and international organizations. The student will analyze in depth the methodologies of incident detection and the tools, approaches, and strategies to manage intrusions when they occur. Includes a study of computer forensics procedures and approp riate networks in the detection, collection, and analysis of data for submission to the appropriate authorities.
