Catalog description

This course introduces students to the design process as it applies to furniture, focusing on furniture ergonomics, materials, construction and manufacturing techniques, and design. Students will research selected topics and design seating, work -service pieces, and ca binetry. Emphasis will be placed on the design process, detailing, documentation, and presentation techniques.
