Study techniques, strategies, processes and analysis groups for collecting evidence from different crime scenes through surveillance and tracking, in the observation of perpetrators and events. Application of scientific techniques and discussion of ethical aspects in a forensic and legal investigation. Upon completion of the course, the student will have developed the following competencies: Technological competency by learning to use technology to collect, analyze and manage evidence. Information skills by learning to search, evaluate, collect and present information effectively and ethically. Ethics and diversity by learning to make ethical decisions, consider cultural diversity, and apply ethical principles in the context of a forensic and legal investiga tion. Forensic investigation by learning to use specialized surveillance and monitoring techniques in forensic investigations considering the technology and ethical aspects particular to this area of forensic investigation. .
