Study of the fundamental principles, processes and techniques used to lift evidence at the scene of the crime. Study of information related to blood stains, fluid, other parts of the body, as well as another kind of evidence found at the crime and its interpretation. Study of reconstruction of the crime scene and search patterns. At the end of the course, the student will have acquired the following skills: Critical thinking and communication by being able to distinguish the different processes and techniqu es used to collect the different evidence at the crime scene, select the most appropriate for each one, document it and explain the reason for the use of one or another technique or process; Technological competence when applying the processes and techniqu es applicable to the collection and custody of evidence; Information and ethics and diversity skills by solving practical problems in the discipline of crime scene investigation making critical judgments legally and ethically; and Innovation by proactively generating new ideas and implementing projects in their discipline
