Catalog description

Intensive and extensive discussion of the theory and application of derivative and future investment vehicles to the process of portfolio management and corporate risk management. The student will study the most dynamic field in the derivative markets. The course covers synthetic and derivate products such as options, futures, forwards and swaps. Legal, technological and accounting issues will be discussed as they frame the activities being carried out in the derivatives markets.
